Customer feedback is so important to us and we’ve been working hard behind-the-scenes to update and refresh our Design Studio. With many new features, helpful tools and the ability to create on desktop and mobile devices, preserving your special memories has never been easier. Keep reading to discover the new Design Studio you helped us design.
1. A fresh new look
Featuring a sleek new interface, our innovative Design Studio is more user-friendly than ever before. Now you can create your photo books and albums with even more speed and ease.
2. Undo your mistakes
One of the most highly requested features, the new undo/redo button will allow you to amend a misplaced image, typo or layout change at the click of a finger – no progress lost.
3. Autofill
Our new autofill function allows you to select the number of images you want across every page. Our smart layout engine will then roll that out across your book, selecting templates to best suit the different orientations of your images. This new feature is perfect for those who want to create their Photo Book or Album fast, or want consistency across every page.
4. Two ways to design
Our new Design Studio offers two distinct modes for creating: Drag and Drop Mode and Page Divider Mode. Choose the design mode that best suits your creative style and start creating.
Drag and Drop Mode: Select your page count, autofill your book and rearrange spreads using drag and drop. Or you can skip autofill and drop your images into your choice of empty layout placeholders.
Page Divider Mode: Edit your book spread by spread using the Slicing tool. Hover your mouse between two images within your photo timeline to bring up the Slicing tool and click to divide by spread. From there you can rearrange the page layouts to your preference. We recommend sorting your photos beforehand to get the most out of this mode. 5. More text control
Bring the story behind your images to life with more text control and customization options. Use your creative eye to play around with text size and layouts. Use the free-transform feature to position your text box exactly where you want it, at the size you want.
6. Live price updates
Stay on top of the cost of your creation with our new price calculator. We’ll calculate the cost of your Photo Book or Album as you create, so if want to add a presentation box, customized Designer Cover or just need a few additional pages, you’ll see the price reflected in real-time at the top right-hand corner of your screen. Select the drop-down arrow on the right for an expanded view of the pricing breakdown.
Plus, watch our new tip videos
Watch our easy-to-follow tip videos while you create. Now shorter and more concise, our tip videos focus on one topic at a time, with a pop-out browser so you can watch and create simultaneously. We’ve also added in subtitles, for those moments when you need the volume on mute.
